Illinois High School Basketball - Benet Academy overwhelms Blue Island Eisenhower
December 27, 2024: Lisle, IL 60532 The Benet Academy Redwings basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals to 16 in the Redwings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Redwings now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28.
With the loss, Blue Island Eisenhower falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL) to confront the Caravan in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Caravan go into the game with a record of 6-0. Chicago Mt. Carmel won 55-33 in their recent non-league game against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)
