California High School Basketball - Capuchino trounced by South San Francisco
December 27, 2024: South San Francisco, CA 94080 South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA), 56-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South San Francisco advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Warriors host El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to face the Colts in a match on Thursday, January 9. The Colts enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Mustangs now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Capuchino will face a Fightin' Irish squad coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 4-2.
