December 27, 2024: College Station, TX 77840 The Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) basketball were winner over the host A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX), 42-34 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Hill for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Wylie will play a Blue Hawks team coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, A&M Consolidated falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to play the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 3. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Brenham won 29-28 in their recent non-league bout against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)
