Minnesota High School Basketball - Albert Lea holds off La Crescent
December 27, 2024: Albert Lea, MN 56007 The Albert Lea Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting La Crescent Lancers to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Triton for a AA Section 1 game on Monday, December 30. Albert Lea will confront a Cobras team coming off a 60-54 league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Cobras record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, La Crescent falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Chatfield (Chatfield, MN) to confront the Gophers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3.
