In Friday's non-league test, the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC), by a score of 60-24.

Next, the Cougars clash with the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Mountain Heritage will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 54-31 non-league loss to Erwin (Asheville, NC).

The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Greer (Greer, SC). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Greer was routed by Southside (Greenville, SC), 42-39, in a non-league test.
