December 27, 2024: El Paso, TX 79905 The Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) basketball crushed the host Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX), 49-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Gadsden will play a Lobos team coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Bowie falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bears host Austin (El Paso, TX) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Austin won 44-25 in their recent non-league bout against Irvin (El Paso, TX)
