Illinois High School Basketball - Carmel bests Lincoln-Way West
December 27, 2024: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), 45-31 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Corsairs now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Batavia for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Carmel will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-44 non-league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Lincoln-Way West falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Lincoln-Way East won 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)
