Tennessee High School Basketball - Morristown-Hamblen West crushes Chuckey-Doak
December 27, 2024: Morristown, TN 37813 The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans (Morristown, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN), 81-42 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Powell for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Morristown-Hamblen West will play a Panthers team coming off a 65-51 non-league win over Coalfield (Coalfield, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Chuckey-Doak falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to South Greene (Greeneville, TN) to play the Rebels in a 2A District 1 bout on Sunday, December 29. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-4. South Greene lost 79-74 in their recent non-league bout against Union County (Maynardville, TN)
