New Mexico High School Basketball - Cimarron overwhelms Walatowa Charter
December 27, 2024: Cimarron, NM 87714 The Cimarron Rams basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Walatowa Charter Cougars to 16 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tse' Yi' Gai for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Cimarron will confront a Dine Warriors team coming off a 47-17 non-league loss to Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Dine Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Walatowa Charter falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Coronado (Gallina, NM) to confront the Leopards in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Leopards go into the game with a record of 1-3. Coronado lost 54-14 in their recent non-league game against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM)
