Texas High School Basketball - Queen City toppled by Cumberland Academy
December 27, 2024: Queen City, TX 75572 Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 59-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cumberland Academy upgrades its record to 7-15 on the year. The Knights travel to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-10. Harmony lost 36-29 in their recent non-league match against Spring Hill (Longview, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwater for a 3A Region II District 14 match on Friday, January 3.
