In Friday's non-league test, the Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) basketball squad trounced the host Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN), by a final score of 71-50.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 2. Franklin County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN).

The Mohawks (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Huskies come into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Hamilton Heights bounced Blackford (Hartford City, IN), 48-29, in a non-league test.
