In Friday's non-league contest, the host Garrison Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 55-30 triumph over the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 1-9 record.
In their next game, the Timberwolves confront the Woodville Eagles (Woodville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 contest, on Friday, January 24. Pineywoods Community Academy will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record.
