Virginia High School Basketball - J.I. Burton overwhelms Gibbs
December 27, 2024: Norton, VA 24273 The J.I. Burton Black Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Gibbs Eagles to 39 in the Black Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Black Raiders now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Limestone for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. J.I. Burton will confront a Indians team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Indians record now stands at 12-4.
