Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook North holds off Glenbard West
December 27, 2024: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Glenbrook North Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers to 43 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal Lake Central for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Glenbrook North will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Glenbard West falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 8-7. Wheaton-Warrenville South lost 36-32 in their recent non-league game against Trinity (River Forest, IL)
