California High School Basketball - Granada knocks off Wood
December 27, 2024: Livermore, CA 94550 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), observed Granada's basketball team overcome Wood by a margin of 61-42.
The Matadors (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferndale (Ferndale, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Ferndale defeated Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA), 46-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Monticello Empire League challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Wood will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 35-28 non-league win over Aptos (Aptos, CA).
