Riverview Sarasota Rams (Sarasota, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hilliard Red Flashes (Hilliard, FL), 56-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Riverview Sarasota advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Rams travel to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL) to face the Bulls in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Bulls enter the match with a record of 6-6. Wiregrass Ranch lost 56-35 in their recent non-league match against Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL)

The Red Flashes now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Howell for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Hilliard will face a Silverhawks squad coming off a 78-17 non-league win over Osceola (Kissimmee, FL). The Silverhawks record now stands at 11-1.
