December 27, 2024: Jersey City, NJ 07302 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), observed McNair Academic's basketball team edge Hillside by a score of 35-30.
The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against College Achieve (Asbury Park, NJ). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, College Achieve was tipped by South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ), 46-15, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Hillside will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 39-29 non-league win over College Achieve Central (North Plainfield, NJ).
