December 27, 2024: Pleasant Grove, AL 35127 The Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) basketball crushed the host Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL), 70-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sprayberry for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Hoover will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 53-47 league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Pleasant Grove falls to 14-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Sparkman (Harvest, AL) to play the Senators in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Sparkman won 48-18 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Huntsville, AL)
