December 27, 2024: North Canton, OH 44720 Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), 48-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Vikings host Lake (Uniontown, OH) to face the Blue Streaks in a Federal match on Saturday, January 4. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a record of 2-8. Lake lost 37-30 in their recent non-league match against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
The Wolverines now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiverton for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Western Hills will face a Tigers squad coming off a 48-35 non-league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
