New Hampshire High School Basketball - Oyster River thwarts Keene
December 27, 2024: Durham, NH 03824 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) and the visiting Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), observed Oyster River's basketball team knock off Keene by a score of 42-33.
The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Knights come into the Division II challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Kingswood prevailed over Winnisquam (Tilton, NH), 53-24, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blackbirds encounter the Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, January 3. Keene will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Purple Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, NH).
