In Friday's non-league test, the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) basketball squad defeated the host Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), by a score of 55-42.

Next, the Wolves clash with the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 test, on Friday, January 3. Mansfield Timberview will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 37-31 non-league loss to Lamar (Arlington, TX).
