West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Pinkston Vikings (Dallas, TX), 28-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Mesquite advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Wranglers host Seagoville (Dallas, TX) to face the Dragons in a 5A Region II District 14 match on Friday, January 3. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 7-12. Seagoville lost 32-23 in their recent non-league match against Madison (Dallas, TX)
