December 27, 2024: Waynesboro, MS 39367 The Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS), 51-37 in Friday's non-league bout.
The War Eagles now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tupelo for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Wayne County will play a Golden Wave team coming off a 63-52 non-league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Golden Wave record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Raymond falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to New Site (New Site, MS) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 7-6. New Site lost 46-40 in their recent non-league bout against Belgreen (Russellville, AL)
