Indiana High School Basketball - Roncalli toppled by Washington

Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN), 77-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Hatchets travel to Princeton (Princeton, IN) to face the Tigers in a Pocket match on Saturday, January 11. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 6-9.

The Royals now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Roncalli will face a Raiders squad coming off a 36-23 non-league loss to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-10.
