In Friday's non-league contest, the host South Western Mustangs basketball team scored a close 58-53 triumph over the Spring-Ford Rams.

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Spring-Ford will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
