In Friday's non-league test, the Stanton Mustangs (Stanton, NE) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), by a score of 53-39.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 2. Stanton will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 65-31 league loss to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE).
