Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA), 45-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Taft advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-6. Golden Valley won 48-28 in their recent non-league match against Chavez (Delano, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontier for a South Yosemite - River match on Thursday, January 9.
