Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Shrewsbury knocks off Malden Catholic
December 27, 2024: Malden, MA 02148 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Shrewsbury Colonials ice hockey team scored a close 6-1 victory over the Malden Catholic Lancers.
The Colonials (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA). The Pioneers go into the contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, St. John's edged Franklin (Franklin, MA), 3-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers play the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Malden Catholic will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Red & Black go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 4-2 league win over Reading Memorial (Reading, MA).
