December 27, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) basketball edged the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 52-45 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Hough will play a Mavericks team coming off a 57-32 non-league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Cox Mill falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host South Point (Belmont, NC) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-4. South Point won 45-35 in their recent league bout against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
