California High School Basketball - Rio Americano overwhelms Foothill
December 27, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95864 The Rio Americano Raiders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Foothill Cougars to 37 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Vista del Lago for a game on Friday, January 3. Rio Americano will confront a Eagles team coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Foothill falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Amador (Sutter Creek, CA) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Buffaloes go into the game with a record of 0-9. Amador lost 66-30 in their recent non-league game against Placer (Auburn, CA)
