The Andrew Jackson Volunteers basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Rock Hill Bearcats to 65 in the Volunteers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Volunteers now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Chesterfield for a AA Region 4 game on Friday, January 2. Andrew Jackson will play a Golden Rams team coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Golden Rams record now stands at 2-10.

The Bearcats (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAAAA Region 3 test with a 12-3 record.
