Ohio High School Basketball - Edgewood nudges St. John

December 27, 2025: Ashtabula, OH 44004

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) and the host St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), observed Edgewood's basketball team edge St. John by a score of 62-55.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Grand Valley was nudged by Rocky River (Rocky River, OH), 64-45, in a non-league match.

The Fighting Herald now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harding for a Northeastern match on Tuesday, December 30. St. John will battle a Skippers team coming off a 80-40 league win over Windham (Windham, OH). The Skippers record now stands at 5-0.
