Virginia High School Basketball - Annandale nips Madison
December 28, 2021: Annandale, VA 22003 Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA), 70-64 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Annandale upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Atoms travel to Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 29. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Woodson won 67-54 in their recent non-league bout against Centreville (Clifton, VA)
Next up, the Warhawks play the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
