December 28, 2021: Moorhead, MN 56560 The Moorhead Spuds basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Breckenridge Cowboys to 33 in the Spuds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spuds now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Moorhead will battle a Raiders team coming off a 76-57 non-league win over Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
The Cowboys (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta triumphed over Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN), 75-35, in a non-league contest.
