December 28, 2021: Elk Point, SD 57025 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) and the visiting Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD), saw Elk Point-Jefferson's basketball squad wallop Irene/Wakonda by a tally of 68-38.
With the victory, Elk Point-Jefferson improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Canistota (Canistota, SD) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Canistota won 65-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Gregory (Gregory, SD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. Irene/Wakonda will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
