Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Elkins can't hold off Westfield

The Westfield Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights to 52 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Woodlands Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Westfield will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.

The Knights (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Crosby was nudged by The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
