December 28, 2021: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) basketball felled the host Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), 42-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln thwarted Madison (Madison, IL), 24-19, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Lake Zurich for a North Suburban test on Tuesday, January 4. Mundelein will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 69-54 non-league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Bears record now stands at 4-6.
