Florida High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove crushes Port St. Joe
December 28, 2021: Port St. Joe, FL 32456 Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks (Port St. Joe, FL), 79-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Wenonah (Birmingham, AL) to play the Dragons in a 5A Area 9 bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Wenonah won 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL)
Next up, the Tiger Sharks play the Franklin County Seahawks (Eastpoint, FL) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Friday, January 7. Port St. Joe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
