Louisiana High School Basketball - Assumption can't hold off Dutchtown
December 28, 2021: Geismar, LA 70734 The Dutchtown Griffins basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Assumption Mustangs to 32 in the Griffins non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Griffins now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Allen for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Dutchtown will battle a Pelicans team coming off a 57-41 non-league loss to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 1-4.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Donaldsonville was nudged by East St. John (Reserve, LA), 60-25, in a non-league contest.
