Maine High School Basketball - Brunswick overwhelms Freeport
December 28, 2021: Freeport, ME 04032 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) and the host Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME), saw Brunswick's basketball squad wallop Freeport by a tally of 60-35.
With the victory, Brunswick improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to play the Capers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 30. The Capers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Cape Elizabeth lost 36-23 in their recent league challenge against Lake Region (Naples, ME)
Next up, the Falcons play the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 29. Freeport will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 69-44 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME).
