December 28, 2021: Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) and the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL), saw Mt. Pulaski's basketball squad hold off Litchfield by a tally of 49-45.
With the victory, Mt. Pulaski improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Pana (Pana, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 29. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Pana won 73-15 in their recent non-league challenge against North Mac (Virden, IL)
Next up, the Purple Panthers confront the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 29. Litchfield will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 68-32 non-league loss to Pana (Pana, IL).
