The Monroe Golden Tornadoes routed the host Shaw Raiders basketball team by a final score of 71-31 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes face the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 29. Monroe will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 55-20 non-league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
