New Jersey High School Basketball - West Orange overwhelmed by New Providence
December 28, 2021: New Providence, NJ 07924 The New Providence Pioneers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting West Orange Mountaineers to 25 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson Catholic for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 2.
The Mountaineers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, NJ). The Soaring Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Union City was routed by Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
