Georgia High School Basketball - Trion overwhelms Ridgeland

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the host Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA), saw Trion's basketball squad wallop Ridgeland by a count of 66-34.

With the victory, Trion upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Heritage (Ringgold, GA) to play the Generals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 29. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Heritage won 36-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Dade County (Trenton, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Ridgeland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 56-51 non-league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA).
