The Alamo Navajo Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Native American Community Academy Eagles to 27 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mescalero Apache for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Alamo Navajo will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 66-41 non-league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-6.
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record.
