December 28, 2022: Nocona, TX 76255 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX) and the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), saw Alvord's basketball squad wallop Prairie Valley by a count of 68-47.
With the victory, Alvord upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bland (Merit, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Bland won 48-31 in their recent league challenge against Trenton (Trenton, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Prairie Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 82-32 league loss to Graford (Graford, TX).
