December 28, 2022: Forreston, IL 61030 The Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 54-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Missiles go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Milledgeville notched a victory over River Ridge (Hanover, IL), 47-45, in a non-league test.
The Clippers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Carroll for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Amboy will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 73-22 non-league loss to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL). The Thunder record now stands at 2-10.
