Texas High School Basketball - Aransas Pass tops Calallen
December 28, 2022: Aransas Pass, TX 78336 Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Aransas Pass upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Corpus Christi Moody lost 75-66 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Corpus Christi, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 bout, on Friday, December 30. Calallen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 50-35 non-league win over Banquete (Banquete, TX).
