New York High School Basketball - White Plains nips Berkeley
December 28, 2022: White Plains, NY 10605 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) and the visiting Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw White Plains's basketball squad hold off Berkeley by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, White Plains improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ossining (Ossining, NY) to play the Pride in a Section 1 Conference 1D challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Ossining lost 62-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY)
Next up, the Stags play the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers (Moncks Corner, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Berkeley will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 80-57 non-league loss to First Baptist School (Charleston, SC).
