Texas High School Basketball - Bremond can't hold off Iola
December 28, 2022: Iola, TX 77861 The Iola Bulldogs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Bremond Tigers to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvert for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 31. Iola will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Zavalla (Zavalla, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 4-11.
The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mart (Mart, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A Region III District 18 contest with a 0-0 record.
